02.20.2017 – the CrossFit Games Open

The 2017 CrossFit Games Open is beginning this week, with the first workout announcement happening this Thursday.

If anyone is looking to register for the Open, go to games.crossfit.com, and sign up under the affiliate CrossFit Temenos.

We will be programming the Open workout every Friday as the workout of the day.

Also, a group of us will be doing the workout on Saturdays at 10:00am. anyone is welcome to join!

If you have any questions at all, please speak to your coach at one of this weeks classes.

Warm up:

2 Rounds, Tabata timer
Yoga push up
Scorpion kicks
Bird dogs
Scap pull ups
Handstand hold

Mobility:

10:00 cap:
1. Anterior compartment smash   2:00/
2. “Perfect” kip swings : 3x 12

Strength:

Bench press; build, then 5x 5 (across, AHAP

Conditioning:

AMRAP 8:00
8 DB push press (50/35)
8 Chest to bar pull ups
